NYC District Attorney: Know any 9/11 disability scammers in Palm Coast?
In a massive ongoing operation to nab former Cops and Firemen for false disability claims totaling some $400 million dollars, the New York City District Attorney Cyrus Vance from Manhattan wants your help.
So far over 100 former Cops and Firefighters have been arrested; some right here in Florida and Flagler County. You might know who they are and if you do, you may be eligible for a reward.
“We will be following the money”, said a Spokeswoman from the District Attorney’s office. “That means we are looking at where the checks are going.”
And a lot of those checks are being sent to Florida. For some of these guys the party is over. Others have seemingly escaped the eye of the District Attorney though new leads are coming in on a daily basis.
Its pretty simple. Disability, especially for “mental stress” doesn’t usually manifest itself in the purchase of Oceanfront property, expensive cars and a Jet Ski lifestyle. But these guys have had a lot of fun over the years.
“Nice Fish Dick!” I wonder if they will let you hang that thing up in your jail cell?
Life’s a Beach in Flagler County… until you get caught.
